OUR MISSION
A Parent’s Advantage is a company started by parents and literacy experts, for parents who are struggling to get their child to read. We serve both homeschool parents wanting to teach their child themselves but are unsure where to start, and traditional school parents attempting to support reading instruction at home and advocate for their child within the public school system. We aim to empower parents in any situation to confidently lead the charge on guiding their child’s growing mind.
OUR BELIEFS
Our company was founded with the vision of spreading the following core beliefs to all parents across America.
- Attentive and involved parents (not teachers or specialists) are the foremost experts on their child.
- Well-informed parents should be the ones making decisions about their child’s education.
- All children can learn to read with proper care, attention and instruction.
- Healthy skepticism of the current state of education and medical advice related to learning disabilities is warranted and can gain us helpful insights.
