We want customers of A Parent’s Advantage to understand our refund and cancellation policies before making a purchase.

Digital Products

Final Sale

Because our digital products are delivered electronically and may be accessed immediately after purchase, sales of downloadable digital products are generally final once access to the product has been provided. This includes ebooks, guides, printables, assessments, activities, planners, games, and other downloadable resources. We generally do not provide refunds because a customer:

• Changes their mind

• No longer needs the resource

• Decides the resource is not appropriate for their particular child or situation

• Does not use the purchased resource

• Did not review the product description before purchasing

However, we want to correct legitimate purchase and technical problems.

Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, contact us within 14 days of purchase. Once we verify the duplicate transaction, we will generally refund the duplicate purchase.

File or Delivery Problems

If a purchased file is missing, corrupted, inaccessible, materially different from what was described, or you received the wrong product, contact us within 14 days of purchase. Please include:

• Your name

• The email address used for the purchase

• The product purchased

• A brief description of the problem

We will first attempt to correct the problem or provide the correct working file. If we cannot provide the product you purchased, we may issue an appropriate refund.

Incorrect or Unauthorized Charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or that a transaction was unauthorized, please contact us promptly so that we can investigate the issue.

Consultations

Cancellations or Rescheduling With at Least 24 Hours’ Notice

You may cancel or reschedule a consultation without penalty by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, you may request a refund or choose to reschedule.

Cancellations With Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice

Consultations canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are generally nonrefundable. At our discretion, we may allow one rescheduling of the appointment rather than forfeiting the consultation fee.

No-Shows

If you do not attend your scheduled consultation and have not canceled or rescheduled in advance, the consultation fee is generally nonrefundable.

Completed Consultations

Once a consultation has occurred, the consultation fee is nonrefundable. Dissatisfaction with educational information, recommendations, or the absence of a particular outcome does not by itself create a right to a refund.

If We Cancel

If A Parent’s Advantage needs to cancel a scheduled consultation, you may choose either:

• A full refund of the consultation fee, or

• Rescheduling at no additional charge

Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. After we issue a refund, the time required for funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment processor, card issuer, or financial institution.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Adult Users

A Parent’s Advantage is intended for parents, caregivers, educators, and other adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase a product or book a paid consultation through our website.

Educational and Informational Purpose

A Parent’s Advantage provides educational information, resources, activities, digital products, and consultations intended to help adults understand and support children’s learning. Our content and services are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They are not a substitute for individualized evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or services from an appropriately qualified physician, psychologist, speech-language pathologist, educational professional, attorney, or other licensed professional when such services are appropriate.

Assessments, Screeners, and Similar Resources

Any assessments, checklists, screeners, rubrics, questionnaires, or similar tools provided by A Parent’s Advantage are intended to help parents observe, organize, and better understand learning skills and concerns. They are not clinical or diagnostic assessments and should not be used to diagnose dyslexia, ADHD, autism, speech or language disorders, learning disabilities, medical conditions, psychological conditions, or any other diagnosis. If you have concerns about your child’s development, health, learning, speech, language, or behavior, consider discussing those concerns with an appropriately qualified professional.

Consultations

Consultations provided through A Parent’s Advantage are educational and informational in nature. A consultation does not create a physician-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or other licensed professional relationship. Information or suggestions provided during a consultation are not a diagnosis and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, speech-language, special-education, legal, or other professional evaluation or services. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use the information provided and whether additional professional evaluation is appropriate. Consultations are also subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

No Guaranteed Results

Every child learns and develops differently. We do not guarantee that any article, activity, strategy, consultation, guide, printable, course, assessment, or other resource will produce a particular academic, developmental, educational, or other outcome. In alignment with our values, parents and caregivers are responsible for determining whether a particular resource or recommendation is appropriate for their child and situation.
